We need to hold people to account for the company they keep. If your largest investor is known for mining data for fascist regimes and you are in the business of verifying data authentication then it not guilt by association it is the smoking gun and best to avoid
With the current US administration all the worlds citizens should be careful about their data in the hands of US corporations. Unlike China, US has and can kidnap you from your own country if they feel like it even if not citizens of US. This was the case with previous US administration but they tried to at least follow their own laws if not international laws. This administration does not care about US laws or International laws.
Yes thats why I said China needs to reach parity on node size once they do then production will ramp up. Currently they are behind so just supplying to local captured China market and not competing for market share outside China.
I thought all printers had in place block to stop printing of money so something like that to stop printing and making of firearms etc is not unrealistic
It’s more complicated than that. A 2D rectangle with certain graphics is entirely different than a single part of a gun which may really look like anything. Would you recognize a trigger sear if I showed you one?
And if 3DP gun designers get blocked, they just have to alter the design slightly. Vs counterfeit currency which always and forever must look the same. If the 3DP database detection is loosened to catch lookalikes, then you have false positives for the guy making a desk lamp whose part just kinda sorta looks like a trigger sear.
Also, I am not aware of any open source 2D printers built from the ground up, but 3DP got started that way. So bypassing this would be insanely easy.
I think the new tech that will go mainstream for displays is colored backlight inplace for white backlight as the current limitation of displays is more the color, brightness and contrast. Not the resolution.
Their major revenue growth potential was blocked by the US for the previous gen systems. Whereas newer gen is so expensive that its biggest customer TSMC is trying to do without. So cutting expenses and share buy backs is the way for major stock holders to decrease their positions without share prices tanking.

Here in Japan as well delivery companies are all moving to EVs, which is great in the neighborhoods where they idle their trucks in the summer when hopping out to make a delivery. Yamato using Mitsubishi Fuso eCanter trucks[0] and Japan Post adopting Mitsubishi Minicab EVs[1] and Honda EV bikes.
Just when I was thinking about Tesla’s main failure being their pickup truck you remind me how they completely missed the obvious delivery van market for which EVs are ideal.
And the semi is such vaporware that I forgot it was even a thing.
