Some times the second chance succeeds because you rely on the expertise of someone else rather than your own.

When Durian became available locally, I purchased the smallest fruit available. I used it as part of my smoothie. Yes, it was pungent while at the same time a very light and pleasing fragrant aroma.

I didn't purchase it again as I needed more understanding of flavor melding. However, I enjoyed the puff pastry filled with Durian a few years later while visiting China and only tasted the fragrant aroma.

"If it is a complete reversion to the path"

Great catch as chance is an inclusive term. Therefore, when seeking a second chance one should consider what aspect(s) of the path should change to succeed.

True, that is rote learning. It can be the basis of critical thinking. Critical thinking involves methods of inquiry...who, what, why, when and how. Rote thinking is limited to 'how'.

Interesting. I play three instruments, primary is piano. We were expected to memorized our pieces for recitals each year. I've yet to determine if I memorized every single note or by playing the entire piece one memorized via touch and position. I'm horrible at programming, to busy asking question behind the 'why' does it work that way.

I'm still working on rewiring my brain and math. I was at the top of my primary classes until we moved; the new school was a year behind academically. We returned in 6 months, however, it was enough that I struggled with factoring some fractions and percentages because I missed the theory and the stress of moving.

My mind embraces set and fractal theory readily and spatial awareness is decent. For me, math is applied using abstract logic. I'm still have math-phobia

Dependent of the cause yes. Loneliness caused by rejection based on miscalculated perceptions of others is an unfortunate reality. Loss of family and friends due to death is not solved by science, however, coping mechanisms for management may help.

Interesting that of all places Phil McAuliffe was in Korea. Korean culture is very welcoming. Once a connection is made, one becomes part of the family.

At times loneliness can spur one to push past fears such as travelling alone or attending an event solo.

Investing in a home is a mixed bag. Whether you purchase a new home or pre-owned, there will always be repairs and some are cause due to the use of cheap products by builders.

Determine why you want to purchase a home. Do you intended to pay it off to establish a level of 'rent' control once retired? Is your home a tax write-off based on income?

Rigth now in the US there is an affordable housing crisis due to price gouging.

Gen Zers are not the only people with this problem. Any generation that is hit by economic downturn, the daily dose of new about war and the savage imagery along with the all the various health issues will struggle.

Millenials were hit with more than a few downturns, a sign of things to come.

Agreed. Hopefully these sorts of articles will disappear.

I think I kept a mindset that it would happen on it's own.

As time goes on I'm realizing all that will happen is the people who happen to life.

Interesting article would appreciate the including VR controllers.

There has been much talk regarding the changes to Glassdoor given they will remove reviews that are honest. There are discussions from HR professionals who have explained how companies get posts removed.

The Layoff is much better then Glassdoor. No one cares about ratings, we want to know about the culture and practices of employers and toxic leaders. I will still check glassdoor without consideration of their ratings except when it is obvious the ratings are deserved.
