Just like YOLO can mean You Only Live Once (so make it count).

One of my extremely strange hobbies is writing variations of the last verse of this poem.

The posts are lovely, dense and deep,

but I have promises to keep,

and lines (of code) to write before I sleep,

and lines (of code) to write before I sleep.

--

The snacks are lovely; tasty-sweet,

But I have promises to keep,

And hours to fast before I eat,

and hours to fast before I eat.

--

The chasm is lovely, dark and deep.

But you have promises to keep,

And years to live before you sleep!

And years to live before you sleep.

Hahaha! :) this is hilarious, and good. Well done!

    Looking for something
else, but you got this haiku.
    Now, was it brutal?

All you need hate him!

"... She eats and wipes her mouth and says, ‘I’ve done nothing wrong.’"

Who is the adulterous woman here?

Edit: the above quote is from NASB Proverbs 30:20.

This is the way of an adulterous woman: She eats and wipes her mouth, And says, “I have done no wrong.”

Not adulterous per se, but planetivorous perhaps. Just seems wrong to eat your planets...

Cardboard mulching is a great way to minimize the weeds in your garden! It does break down in a few years, but at least some (or most of it) gets sequestered into the ground.

I found the original article: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41560-023-01226-7 They achieved r-values of 5-9 per inch, if I read the graph right.

There's a neat overhang calculator that I used to size my window and door overhangs on the south side:

re: mangrove forests, there's a company I'm following that is working on replanting them as part of a permaculture solution: https://regenerativeresources.co/
