I guess to truly calculate it you need to estimate how long it will take to get the ROI (i.e. reach the point where you need to pay taxes on the 150billion). And add back what you can earn by investing the money you didn't have to pay taxes on. I'm not sure what the magnificent 7 can expect as a ROI on invested money though, given that they tend to have enough cash to invest anyways and just pay out dividends.


I believe these gpus dont have direct hdmi/DisplayPort outputs, so at the very least its tricky to even run a game on them, I guess you need to run the game in a VM or so?


Copying between GPUs is a thing, that's how integrated/discrete GPU switching works. So if the drivers provide full vulkan support then rendering on the nvidia and copying to another GPU with outputs could work. And it's an ARM CPU, so to run most games you need emulation (Wine+FEX), but Valve has been polishing that for their steamframe... so maybe?

People have gotten games to run on a DGX Spark, which is somewhat similar (GB10 instead of GH200)

Unfortunately sunshine introduces a lot of input lag on NVIDIA.

In AMD I’ve read it works great, but for NVIDIA chips, in mouse heavy games, it becomes unusable for me.

But I also think that for people that didn't try a "snappier" alternative, it was possible not to realize it's there.

Try and make a comparison with Parsec of even the Steam's own streaming. You will notice a big difference if the issue still exists.


i did a test with just spamming date in a terminal and having a high fps video captured from my phone, it was usually under a frame (granted 60 fps so 1/60 sec)


Ah, no, that's not what I mean. It's the input devices. Mainly the mouse pointer.

I now remember there was a way to go around it (a bit cumbersome and ugly) which was to render the mouse pointer only locally. That means no mouse cursor changes for tooltips/resizing/different pointers in games, etc. But at least it gets rid of the lag.

ORM's are not the only solution to SQL injection, pyscopg for example handles string escaping etc for you.


Yeah, if you remember to use it properly. SQL injection was pretty rampant before ORMs and web frameworks started being used everywhere.

ORMs let anyone make CRUD apps without needing to worry about that sort of thing. Also helps prevent issues from slipping through on larger teams with more junior developers. Or, frankly, even “senior” developers that don’t really understand web security.

In the OP's example, the user is logging in to BAD.com intentionally, but his GOOD.com account is still hacked into.

It seems reasonable to use the term to me simply to say the abilities on a benchmark of the model were greater than the human annotated data. Computers have always been superhuman at many tasks, even before llms.

How do you know what normal human capabilities are for an unusual task that humans have not trained for? Is identifying the gender of the author of a blog post 80% of the time "extraordinary"? How do I know what a human is capable of doing for that with training?

If a person with no programming experience asked Claude or ChatGPT to produce some code, they'd get better code than their "normal" human capability could produce. So: superhuman coders?

But also today, I have asked Claude and ChatGPT to do coding tasks for me that both models got stuck on. Then I fixed them myself because I've had a lot of training and practice. So: not superhuman? But wait, the model output the broken code faster than I would've. So: superhuman again?

Extraordinary shouldn't be so easily disputable.

LLMs have superhuman breadth and superhuman speed. I haven't seen superhuman depth in any capabilities yet. I've seen them have "better than untrained median person" and often "better than hobbyist" depth. But here the authors claim "superhuman capabilities" which is pretty specificly not just meaning the breadth or speed.


I haven't read the paper, maybe their benchmark is flawed as you say, and there are a lot of ways for it to be flawed. But assuming it is not, I see no problem with using the word superhuman.

Out of curiosity, would you agree with me if I said 'Calculators have superhuman capabilities'? (Not just talking about speed here, since you can easily construct complex enough equations that a human wouldn't be able to solve in their lifetime but the calculator could within minutes).

either you (human) took that directly from Wikipedia without attribution, or even a mention.. or the LLM you used did so.. the first is mildly annoying, the second is a core of the legal problems in the West for the entire technology.

Wikipedia cost time and effort by humans, built as a commons for all written knowledge. Every hour of every day, the Internet is a better place for humans because of Wikipedia. Instead of honoring that, or contributing back, or financially contributing To Wikipedia .. parasite machines run my amoral opportunists try to create platforms using the content while Increasing Costs to Wikipedia, taking away attention from Wikipedia, misrepresenting content taken directly from Wikipedia.

This LLM situation is not resolved; far from it.

Not sure, havent done so myself but I think you can use MTEB maybe. Or otherwise a llm benchmark on large inputs (and compare your chunking with naive chunking)


I suppose that's where the use case for LLMs starts to diminish rapidly.


Why not just give the html to the llm?


Context size limits are usually the reason. Most websites I want to scrape end up being over 200K tokens. Tokenization for HTML isn't optimal because symbols like '<', '>', '/', etc. end up being separate tokens, whereas whole words can be one token if we're talking about plain text.

Possible approaches include transforming the text to MD or minimizing the HTML (e.g., removing script tags, comments, etc.).


I was trying to do this recently for Web page summarization. As said below the token sizes would end up over the context length, so I trimmed the html to fit just to see what would happen. I found that the LLM was able to extract information, but it very commonly would start trying to continue the html blocks that had been left open in the trimmed input. Presumably this is due to instruction tuning on coding tasks

I'd love to figure out a way to do it though, it seems to me that there's a bunch of rich description of the website in the html


I remember there was a paper which found that LLMs understand HTML pretty well, you don't need additional preprocessing. The downside is that HTML produces more tokens than Markdown.
