He "learned" by illegally poisoning black people

> an engineering and physics problem that he will somehow solve

no he won't

Thank you. This is really nasty. Boxtown residents should sue xAI and take them to court.

I'm confused, wouldn't this be just using the power of the government to enforce short-sighted, tech-hostile regulations like "datacenters should not poison people"?

Yes exactly. Way too many people who ought to know better are like "this is cool!" and when disaster happens are going to have egg on their face

If they want to abandon noblesse oblige we can certainly go back to the old way of evening things out. Their choice

So he was willing to make a business deal with the country that executes gay people, as long as HE wasn't in danger? Legitimizing their regime is perfectly OK if it doesn't affect him? The fact that he was negotiating with them makes that incident look even worse for him, not Gawker

This is gross man. Abusive relationships are way more complicated than that, judging someone in this situation because you read one article about it is out of line

It's the article supplied. If you have another article that says anything different, then supply it. If you have further insight into this specific instance, give it.

It has nothing to do with reading another article and I have absolutely no insight into this instance and neither do you. You do not and cannot know what is going on in that woman's life to judge her like that, and it's really gross to try and do so.

Which is why I said I didn't understand and why I asked the questions. I made no judgement but you found it easy to judge me on even less information. How very Reddit of you

You did not just ask a question. You said:

> So she didn't have any problems "escaping" the relationship.

Tell me what difficulty she had escaping the relationship. You act like you know more than I.

No, I do not. I literally said "I have absolutely no insight into this instance"

A woman claimed she was raped by her partner. She left that partner some time later. You questioned it because she didn't leave him immediately and left him after allegations of cheating, completely ignoring the complexity of being in an abusive relationship, and expressing skepticism of the woman for not immediately leaving him. That is really shameful and gross to do.

And even here you are expressing skepticism "Tell me what difficulty she had". You clearly are out of your depth here, clearly ignorant about the dynamics of abuse, and are saying some really nasty stuff about a woman you know nothing about, and now digging in your heels when it's pointed out. You have no place to question anything about this woman's relationship.

Wtf are you talking about? I didn't link any article

And no I will not question the claim. What is wrong with you?

And the ringleader of the fraud was a white woman who is awaiting sentencing, but they ignore that part

The fact that she's awaiting sentencing suggests they didn't ignore her as much as she may have liked.

That was just one case. There's a lot of other decentralized fraud that had nothing to do with that person.

What other fraud? The Feeding Our Future fraud is the biggest case and they got caught and prosecuted. 80 people have been convicted

Out of the 78 convicted, 77 were of Somali or African descent. So saying the ringleader was white doesn't discount or minimize that fact.

Yes it does, when she was the one recruiting people to participate.

Are you suggesting there is something inherent to being Somali that means they are more likely to commit fraud?

What is the unbiased view of a federal agency geared up for war kidnapping and terrorizing people in the streets of American city? You have no idea what it's like here right now.

> You have no idea what it's like here right now.

I don't have any idea and I'm not trying to defend or justify.

> What is the unbiased view of a federal agency geared up for war kidnapping and terrorizing people in the streets of American city?

That's exactly what I'd like to know. The report didn't provide one. That's my point. Which is fine, they didn't intent to, they were just telling their truth. But those ICE agents have a perspective, they have motivations, they're people, and while reading the report I was curious about what they might have to say about their actions.

Here is an agent arresting a US citizen, for the expressed reason of having an accent. What is the perspective and motivation here?

> I'm not trying to defend or justify

Yes you are, when you say things like this:

> those ICE agents have a perspective, they have motivations, they're people

They are racist, fascist thugs, it's that simple. They want to terrorize immigrants and brown people. There is no need to overthink this. They are racially profiling people every day, and arresting citizens because they are minorities. They shot a mother in the head and now they are telling the rest of us "didn't you learn your lesson?", alluding to that murder. They tear-gassed a family of 6 trying to get home the other day, including a 6 month old baby that lost consciousness. The family had nothing to do with anything, they were simply trying to get home in an area ICE was attacking.

What "perspective" could possibly change anything about this shameful behavior?

We're not passive, they would shoot us in the head

Nonsense. They are targeting people who are here legally. Cancelling their asylum applications while they are in the legal process and then arresting them at court, when they are following all of the rules.

There are also millions of people who were brought here as babies or young children, through no fault of their own, and who have no ties whatsoever to the country where they were born. There should be a process to fix that, sending them to a faraway country they have never lived is disgusting.

At every turn Republicans have fought any attempt to find sensible solutions because they want to wield "they are here illegally!" as a cudgel, and they have fooled people like you
