With remote work, there are many startups hiring globally in different countries. They typically use Deel (and other Employer of Records like Pilot, Remote), but these services can be pretty expensive as you grow to 5+ employees with 600/mo/pp (or $36k/yr). We hope to become the one stop solution for everything a startup would need to expand to Canada (and other countries in the future): incorporation, bank accounts, accounting, compliance, and benefits.
In this blog post, we talk about the differences between using an EOR vs owning an entity in Canada - would appreciate any thoughts / feedback if this has been a pain point or if we can help you expand to Canada.
